Common Ground: Making the Renovation Wave a Cultural Project
Lab 10: Participatory Practices: I was invited to discuss participatory practices and their contribution to spatial design, experiences and well-being. The title of the presentation was Democracy space, community, and architecture and it explored the tenets of the H2020 program SoPHIA, it presented the LF2031 workshops, and some of the aspects that the Handbook of Peer Production touched upon, about the Top-down vs Bottom-up open question and some of the activities that younger architects in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s engage in, exploring aspects of democracy and participation in architecture, public space, and beyond.
